And You?
Sponsoring the LongEars2Chile Project
Becoming a sponsor is the
act of endorsing the LE2C journey in view of obtaining “something”
in return. The definition of this “something” in the context of
LE2C journey is the purpose of this document, as the return for the
sponsor must be both proportional to the act of sponsoring and an
engagement that the LE2C journey can deliver.
Terms used
- LE2C Journey is the act of engaging on a venture who'se starting conditions are known, the end goal is identified but the actual realization unknown.
- LE2C Budget list is the list established by the LE2C in order to accomplish the proposed venture.
The act of Sponsoring
the LE2C journey
An individual or an
organization that sponsors the LE2C journey does so by donating money
or an item or service in kind that is identified in the LE2C journey
budget. The sponsoring status is acquired once the funds have been
duly received on the LE2C journey bank account. You can donate to one of our sponsor Associations with a tax deduction (UNAP, DreamChaser) and indicate it is to support the LongEars2Chile Project or contact us directly to adapt to your administrative requirements.
Items that are listed in
the budget of the LE2C journey qualify the donor for Sponsoring. Any
proposition not in the list is evaluated on a case to case basis and
can be accepted or rejected by the LE2C as qualifying for sponsoring.
Each item listed for
sponsoring is quoted at it's published list price plus 10%. The 10%
is the donation that the LE2C systematically gives to a non for
profit organization or project that the LE2C has committed to help
finance throughout this venture.
Moneys collected via
sponsoring can be re-allocated to any item on the list should the
item already be acquired and/or several simultaneous sponsors sponsor
the same items.
The LE2C journey becomes
the irrevocable receiver of any funds sent by a donor. The donor
accepts all conditions that the LE2C has set for sponsoring by the
simple act of donating. The LE2C engagement is limited to doing it's
best to meet the objectives of the LE2C journey but in no case can be
liable individually or collectively for anyone joining the journey
for not attaining the objectives announced. The same limitations of
liability applies to all engagements associated with the act of
sponsoring and the actions engaged by LE2C to create valuable returns
for the sponsors.
